The Splendid Health Spa Hotel *** is located on the thermal island of Piešťany on the river Váh next to other hotels of the Ensana Hotels chain, which specializes in spa and thermal services. Since 1971 it has stood out for its quality services and advantageous prices. The hotel features: 5 restaurants, bar, large thermal spa and wellness center, gym, meeting rooms, private parking. The thermal baths of Piešťany are indicated above all in cases of rheumatism and disorders of the osteoarticular system. In the place there are numerous possibilities to practice sports such as tennis, golf, horse riding, winter sports and much more.
The comfortable double or twin rooms and the spacious suites have carpeted floors and a balcony overlooking the park or swimming pool.
The hotel boasts two connecting pools, indoor and outdoor. It is also joined via the covered tunnel to the Balnea Health Spa.
In the hotel you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet. The elegant Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Bratislava restaurants with interiors inspired by the homonymous European capitals serve light lunch and dinner buffets. The Colonade restaurant with summer terrace offers the best Slovak and international dishes, such as e.g. the "Schnitzel" menu with a large selection of different types of schnitzel. In the Café Splendid you can order excellent strudels, coffees or afternoon cocktails.
Spa and Thermal centre
Balnea Health Spa is the largest balneotherapy center in Central Europe and the most advanced in Slovakia. The Spa is divided into: Pool area, 140 treatment cabins, sauna world and other spaces.
In the Pool and Water Areas there are: 2 thermal pools, 2 rehabilitation pools, relaxation pool with Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools (at 30 - 33 ºC) with Jacuzzi and water games, sun terrace.
In the 140 treatment cabins the following cures are carried out: massages, mud therapy, individual balneotherapy, paraffin therapy, manual and instrumental physiotherapy (electrotherapy, laser therapy), carboxytherapy, inhalations, oxygen therapy.
The Sauna World includes: finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam bath, relaxation area.
The other areas are: Spa reception, medical examination rooms, rehabilitation center, 300 m² fitness room, beauty salon.
