The Thermia Palace Health Spa Hotel ***** is located on the spa island of Piešťany on the river Váh. The historic hotel is part of the Ensana Hotels chain specializing in spa and thermal services. With a splendid Art Nouveau design, the Thermia Palace hotel is ideal for those seeking a holiday of luxury and wellness. The hotel boasts the most beautiful Spa in all of Slovakia. Inside you will find the thermal medical center specialized in the treatment and prevention of various ailments and diseases. The hotel also offers: restaurant, cafeteria, bar, swimming pool, medical center, gym, parking. Nearby there are numerous possibilities for practicing sports such as tennis, golf, horse riding, winter sports and more.
The comfortable and bright rooms and suites, furnished in a classic style, feature carpeted or parquet floors, some have a balcony or terrace or loggia. A choice between double or twin double rooms, different types of suites, apartments.
The Irma Health Spa, designed in 1912 in Art Nouveau style, still retains its original spaces, including two beautiful historic indoor pools - the "Mud Pool" at 39 - 40 °C and the "Mirror Pool" thermal bath at 38 - 39 °C. The Spa also features modern pools: the outdoor pool at 32 - 34 °C, 5 therapy pools and a whirlpool.
The 1200 m² Wellness & Relaxation Center offers in addition to the thermal pools: the Sauna World with steam bath, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and tepidarium. The Premium fitness room is available to customers 24 hours a day.
The following cures and treatments are carried out in the medical spa center: massage therapy, individual balneotherapy, spinal traction in water, mud therapy, paraffin therapy, manual and instrumental physiotherapy, rehabilitation gymnastics, phototherapy, carboxytherapy, inhalations, oxygen therapy, beauty treatments.
The elegant Grand restaurant offers freshly prepared dishes with fresh and seasonal products. Its interiors, also in the Liberty style, preserve the original painting by Alfons Mucha dedicated to the spa. In the Café Alexander with terrace you can enjoy excellent coffees, desserts, wines and drinks with musical accompaniment of the piano. The modern Pool bar offers light dishes, cocktails or healthy drinks. In the hotel, upon notice, it is possible to request menus for special diets.
