Thermal baths of Bled are located in the northwestern part of Slovenia. The lake with an island in the centre, the green of the woods and the Julian Alps as a background form an enchanting scenery, one of the symbols of Slovenia's natural beauty. The spas have been frequented since the mid-1800s by numerous tourists and important personalities for their thermal waters which contain numerous mineral salts useful for treating diseases of the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nervous system and psycho-physical stress. In the eastern part of the lake there are the thermal springs, channeled into the pools of some hotels in Bled with the well-equipped wellness centres. In Bled you can choose between different activities: visit the galleries and sights, attend festivals and classical music concerts, climb the highest peak in Slovenia in the Triglav National Park or simply taste a famous typical sweet.
